Welcome to Smart Healthcare International Conference
The digitalization in healthcare opens new perspectives for the patients and the physicians, may be an answer to the global population ageing. The goal of SHeIC 2021 is to bring together members of the Healthcare society and researchers from the Data analysis and Operations Research fields to discuss about the future of healthcare, with a focus on the patient wellbeing and the optimization of the hospital management on operational and structural level.
The conference will focus on several topics: The use of technology and robots for everyday care; The improvement of medical care through artificial intelligence; Data and optimization for hospital management; Artificial intelligence at the service of patient.
The conference will cover all topics related to smart healthcare, hospital logistics, and the use of data to improve medical act and the patient well-being, including:

Call for contributions
Authors are welcome to submit papers in two formats.
- Extended abstracts and work-in-progress papers with a maximum of 2 pages.
- Short papers which present original research contributions of a maximum of 8 pages.
Papers in both formats should report original research of theoretical or applied nature and should be submitted via the online submission system EasyChair by the submission deadline. All submitted papers will be assigned to at least two referees and will be examined based on their originality, significance, quality, and clarity.
Authors may choose between a presentation during one of the 4 track sessions. Short papers will be published in a post-conference proceedings Springer book. Selected abstracts that are presented at the conference will be invited to be considered as chapters or extended papers in Special Issues (to be announced).
